To become an auditor with AuditOne, first complete the registration process in the AuditOne app. Be sure to provide detailed information about your professional background, relevant skills, and experience, and submit your application for review. Our team will assess your qualifications against our high standards, and if approved, you'll be notified and invited to join the platform. Finally, complete the KYC (Know Your Customer) verification process and auditor exam (we have exams for solidity and rust). Once you have passed the exam, you will be able to access the audits and bug bounties available on our platform.
Projects on your platform geIf you are a seasoned auditor, you don’t have to do any preparation. For novice security researchers, we recommend starting with smart contract development basics and gradually developing your knowledge of security topics. You can join our app and find auditor courses that can help you become an auditor, or improve your skills. You can also use our Ressource Bank to find resources for learning. Finally, we regularly organize CTF challenges, where you can test your skills in audit-like setup.
There are 5 Auditor levels on the platform: Starter, Security Researcher, Auditor Expert, Auditor Master, Auditor Deus. Each rank requires more XP to level up, and XP does not reset after reaching the next level. Read more.
Auditors gain experience points (XP) based on the provided information, experience, completed audits, etc. Once registered on our platform, an auditor is assigned level 0. Every level has different privileges and is a testament to the seniority and skills of the auditor.
XP stands for Experience Point and can be earned by Auditors as a result of their work process, while CP is a Community Point which can be earned by any AuditOne Community member for supporting the project and participation in the Community events. XP and CP are not convertible to each other, although both can be converted to $AUDIT.
The compensation for auditors is based on the received payment from a project which ultimately depends on the codebase's size, complexity, and programming language. On average, 3-4 auditors participate in an audit. The auditors receive a base payment and a bounty for each issue found. You can find the base payments and bounty pools listed in our app for every audit. Read more.
AuditOne Academy is where we onboard our auditors; they can learn about the different tools we offer to make auditing more efficient. AuditOne will also reward learners for completing courses with XP. Senior auditors can give workshops or create courses in cooperation with the AuditOne team.
Auditors can access our free automated auditing and reporting tools to help their auditing process. They can also add their manual review findings to our reporting tool.
